He graduated from MIPT in 1997. He defended his Ph.D. dissertation on models of object recognition in real-time systems of computer stereovision in 1999. He defended his Doctor of Science dissertation in 2014 on metohds and algorithms of automatic iris image processing. He is a Doctor technical sciences. He is an author of more than 95 scientific papers on pattern recognition and image processing.

Professional interests: image processing, pattern recognition, biometric identification.
