He is a candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, and also a candidate of chemical sciences. He is an author of more than 600 scientific papers on computer science, applied mathematics, biomedicine, bioinformatics, biophysics and chemistry.

Professional interests: “metric” and “binary” approaches for poorly formalized problems, generation of problem-oriented metrics and analysis of metric configurations, combinatorial theory of solvability, theory of classification of feature values, graph theory and its combinatorial applications in chemoinformatics, data analysis of biomedical research, bioinformatics.
