He graduated from MIPT in 1994. He defended his Ph.D. dissertation in 1999. In 2010 he defended his Doctor of Science dissertation. He is a Doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is an author of more than 115 scientific papers on machine learning and data analysis. Under his supervision, 17 candidate theses were defended.

Professional interests: data science, data analysis, machine learning, pattern recognition, mathematical statistics, discrete mathematics, numerical optimization, big data, practical data analysis in different areas.
